2. Purpose and Scope of this Notice

This notice sets out what personal data Glazer-Innovation Kft. processes, for what purpose, for how long, and on what legal basis.

This notice applies to individuals whose personal data we process (data subjects), in particular:

  • website visitors,

  • prospective clients and those requesting quotes,

  • contact persons of contracted clients,

  • newsletter subscribers,

  • users of the chatbot.

3. Applicable Legislation

The following legislation is particularly relevant to the processing described in this notice:

  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR),

  • Act CXII of 2011 (Infotv., Hungarian Privacy Act),

  • Act CVIII of 2001 (Eker tv., Hungarian Act on Electronic Commerce),

  • Act XLVIII of 2008 (Grt., Hungarian Act on Business Advertising),

  • Act C of 2000 on Accounting,

  • Act CXXVII of 2007 on Value Added Tax.

5. Detailed Information on the Data Processing

5.1 Contact and Quote Requests

We process enquiries submitted via the contact form or by email to answer your questions and provide a quote.

5.2 Customer Portal

We provide a user account for access to the customer portal. Passwords are stored as one-way cryptographic hashes. Invoice data displayed on the portal is retained in part to comply with a legal obligation.

5.3 AI Chatbot Service

The chatbot responds based on our own documentation and knowledge base. The chatbot currently operates on a locally hosted model. The chatbot does not make automated decisions producing legal effects concerning the data subject, and does not carry out profiling.

Please do not enter any special category data (e.g. health data) into the chatbot, and do not share any data that is not necessary for answering your question.

5.4 Invoicing and Bookkeeping

We process invoicing and bookkeeping data on the basis of a legal obligation. We retain the relevant documents for 8 years, in accordance with the accounting rules.

5.5 Newsletter

We send our newsletter only with your prior, freely given and unambiguous consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without giving a reason, by using the unsubscribe link or by emailing hello@glazer-innovation.com.

5.6 Cookies and Web Analytics

We use the cookies necessary for the operation of the website without consent. We use analytics and marketing cookies only if you consent to this in the cookie banner.

Cookie settings can be changed at any time via the cookie management interface available on the website.

6. Data Processors and Recipients

In the course of the processing, we engage the following data processors:

  1. Hetzner Online GmbH

    Activity: cloud infrastructure and hosting services.

  2. Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC (depending on the service)

    EU contact: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland

    Activity: web analytics and advertising services.

  3. Accounting partner

    Name: Reliable Finances Kft.

    Activity: bookkeeping and accounting services.

We work with all data processors on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to GDPR Article 28.

7. International Data Transfers

Where the use of a service involves the transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area (e.g. to Google LLC, USA), the transfer is made on the basis of an applicable transfer mechanism under the GDPR, in particular:

  • an adequacy decision of the European Commission (where applicable), or

  • the standard contractual clauses (SCC) adopted by the European Commission.

8. Rights of Data Subjects

You have the following rights:

  • the right to be informed,

  • the right of access,

  • the right to rectification,

  • the right to erasure,

  • the right to restriction of processing,

  • the right to data portability,

  • the right to object,

  • the right to withdraw consent.

You may submit your request by emailing hello@glazer-innovation.com. We will respond without undue delay and in any event within 1 month of receiving your request. Where necessary, this deadline may be extended by a further 2 months, and we will notify you separately of any such extension.

9. Remedies

If you believe that our processing infringes your rights:

  1. You may also bring proceedings before the court having jurisdiction over your place of residence or habitual residence.

10. Data Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, in particular:

  • encrypted communication (TLS),

  • access management and permission levels,

  • logging and incident management,

  • regular security updates,

  • employee confidentiality and data protection obligations.

In the event of a personal data breach, we act in accordance with GDPR Articles 33-34.

11. Personal Data of Minors

Our services are primarily intended for persons who have reached the age of 16. If we become aware that we have processed the data of a person under 16 without lawful consent, we will delete such data without delay.

12. Amendment of this Notice

We reserve the right to amend this notice. The current version is published on our website, and in the event of a significant change, we also notify data subjects directly, if we have their contact details.

This notice has been prepared in accordance with Hungarian law, and is to be interpreted in accordance with that law.
